Armando works as a senior expert in the Bertelsmann Stiftung's economic program. He has worked intensively on start-ups by people with a migrant background and has shown in studies how positive the economic and social effect of this dynamic is for Germany. Immigrant women are currently the group in Germany that is driving start-up activity most dynamically. Armando is currently focusing on issues of sustainability transformation and circular value creation.

At his current position on the Sustainable Social Market Economy program, the economist focuses on the innovative capacity of German SMEs and the opportunities and challenges that arise for small and medium-sized enterprises from the dual transformation.
